Paediatrics Society
As a society we run a number of events throughout the year including social events such as movie nights, bounce world and other trips, giving you the chance to meet other students interested in paediatrics, as well as gaining beneficial contacts for the future and making great friends.
Every year we host a variety of events to support our chosen children's charities for the year, events last year included our amazing and fun Christmas quiz.
One of the best ways to gain invaluable experience is through volunteering and we organise opportunities for shadowing on the NICU & PICU wards and Paeds A&E, as well as volunteering for local charities and the St George's Dragons play scheme.
We run mock OSCEs and revision sessions and host educational talks to help you learn about paediatrics as a career choice and to keep you updated on all things paediatrics. In 2019 we also ran our first ever paediatrics conference at SGUL which was a great success!
