Library & Learning Technology Services
The modern health sciences library offers a wide range of books, e-books, academic journals and other resources to support you. You will also have access to online resources such as the Canvas virtual learning environment and the Hunter discovery service to help you find the information you need. The library is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and comprises of silent, quiet and group learning areas as well as four group discussion rooms.

There are five computer suites housing 260 workstations. Three of these suites are accessible 24 hours a day. It's easy to find a free space with our handy real-time computer locator. There are also 75 self-service laptops available. Free wifi covers the whole campus, including all accommodation. You can use these resources to access your course materials, discussion boards and feedback through Canvas, the virtual learning environment provided by library and Learning Technology Services.
Multifaith & Quiet Contemplation Room
Many faith communities are represented on campus and there is a dedicated room located on the first floor of Jenner Wing (rooms J1.1 & J1.2) for use by all students and staff.
The Rob Lowe Sports Centre
The Rob Lowe is run by the SU to provide sports teams and external groups with sporting facilities. The rooms available include the sports hall, three squash courts, and a number of practice rooms. All students are able to book the Rob Lowe for free – all booking enquiries should be sent through to the vp student activities & experience, who can provide more details on availability and use of the facilities.
External groups are able to book the courts and hall for use, although spaces are limited – please contact the vp finance & student activities for more information about booking or membership enquiries.
