Ronald McDonald House
Ronald McDonald Charity House, Tooting is a home away from home for families who have children in a critical condition at St George’s Hospital. The staff endeavour to create a safe environment for the families staying at the house and work to make a stressful time slightly less stressful.
You can get involved in a variety of ways, from playing with the children staying at the house to decorating the house for Halloween and helping out at the annual gala. Volunteering is flexible and greatly appreciated both by staff at the house and the families staying there. You are guaranteed to have fun! Not only does volunteering look good on your CV, but the close proximity of the house to the university means you can volunteer when you have a long break in between lectures.
