StreetDoctors

Welcome to StreetDoctors

StreetDoctors is a national network of young healthcare volunteers that teach lifesaving skills to 11-25 year olds at risk of youth violence. The south west London team based at St George's work with young people in pupil referral units and youth offending institutes and our interactive sessions give them the vital skills and confidence to act when someone is bleeding or unconscious. All our volunteers are given high quality training and observe sessions with experienced volunteers before teaching.

We also organise fun fundraising events throughout the year that are open to everyone at St George's.

Achievements in 2018/2019

In 6 months our StreetDoctors volunteers taught lifesaving skills to 100 high risk young people.

Come and join us!

We host auditions for volunteers to join the team in September and October. Please visit our social media pages for more information about the auditions and the work that we do. We'd love to meet you!
