First Love Society
First Love is more than a faith society, it is a family of faith. With a motto of 'Loving God and Loving Others', we aim to create an environment that is open and welcoming to all, irrespective of their faith or belief system. Our society is dedicated to fostering a thriving and safe space where students can feel like they have a family on campus, to encourage them and to be there for them as we learn about faith together. Our primary goal is to demonstrate our love for God by showing love towards others, and to provide a network of emotional and spiritual support for students from all walks of life. As well as the Gospel, we are passionate about the creative arts and host events throughout the academic year to exhibit this.
One of the scariest things about joining university is having to make new friends. The best thing about our society is the wealth of opportunities that are available for you to make great connections and friendships. At our weekly bible study sessions, students are able to come along and meet new people and make new friends from all year groups and courses.
