Students for Global Health
The Students for Global Health Society is dedicated to bringing awareness to global health and social justice to all students at St George's. Our mission is to educate, discuss and advocate for health and justice issues from around the world such as climate change, humanitarian disaster and access to medicines. Whether you are interested in a career in global health or just passionate about certain issues, this is the society for you!
This year we plan to:
Campaign and fundraise for specific issues around global health
Organise multiple webinar events on topics of interest with experts in the field and on the international stage
Promote the global health research that is being carried out at St George's by all members of faculty
Provide guidance on careers and promote opportunities for research and master's studies within the global health sphere
Liaise with other national Global Health Societies
Run workshops and conferences on topics of interest to all students
