Oncology Society
SGUL Oncology Society is geared towards delivering events and resources which aim to increase student awareness of key topics in clinical oncology.
We aim to facilitate students’ learning by hosting revision sessions and engaging them on our social media as well as equipping them with information about clinical oncology that can allow them to explore this field and develop their CVs.
What we hope to achieve this year:
Career talks and sessions which help students build their portfolios
Online quizzes
Delivering a national oncology conference
Fundraising for charities and raising awareness of organisations which help those suffering from cancer and those which are in the frontline of cancer research
Deliver oncology revision sessions in accordance with the Clinical Priority list as well as for Biomedical Sciences Biology of Cancer module.
