Young People Matter Charity

We are an award winning Charity that has had the life changing opportunity to win The People’s Millions lottery, we specialise in working with children and young people and we work very closely with the local community.  We work in a few Lambeth based primary schools running their breakfast clubs and after school clubs, we currently have 6 schools we are working with. We also currently have 5 half term holiday camp sites running which are based in Lambeth primary schools also.

We are looking for play workers to come and join our team and get firsthand experience of working in this field. We are Ofsted registered and work very closely with the EYFS so we have set policies and procedures necessary to follow e.g. safeguarding, health and safety, data protection etc.

Our after school clubs run Mon-Fri term time between 2:45pm-6pm (depending on site) and our half term holiday camp run between 8am-6pm. We can offer support during the session from more experienced play workers, feedback and advice from team leaders and a reference if suitable. There are training opportunities with us also e.g. first aid, safeguarding, CYP courses, food hygiene etc so there is room to grow and improve

I will attach a link below so you can check out our website here you will find any additional information about us.

Collaborative Project Opportunity

******** Interested in getting published? *********

For those interested in: Surgery / Nephrology / Anaesthetics / Academia / CV Building. OAKS-2 is a follow-up national audit of patients identified with post-operative acute kidney injury in the previous OAKS-1 audit.

The role of a collaborator is to ensure that the data is collected and will involve liaising with the hospital audit departments and supervising consultant.

Compared with OAKS-1 the data collection is less intensive with fewer data points, this is reflected in the need for fewer collaborators.

Read the protocol @ http://starsurg.org/oaks-2/

Data Collection Period: November 19th 2016 to February 26th 2017
