We cater to beginner and veteran fencer's alike. So whether you've never held a sword in your life or you're the dread pirate robert, come along and give it a stab in our free taster session.
We're a welcoming club able to provide equipment to you to learn or practice Foil, Epee and Sabre fencing. All your coaching is given by members experienced in fencing. You'll be encouraged to spar early on to hone your skills.
Training sessions start with cardio warm ups, then footwork, then bladework and finally fighting on the electric box!
We've got plenty of room for competitive and recreational fencers alike.
When do we meet?
Training is always on a wednesday (5pm-8:30pm) but times may vary. Keep checking on Facebook for updates.
Be sure to join our mailing list, by clicking add to basket and checking out so that you don't miss out on any changes to training times or cancellations.
What about afterwards?
You'll find us in the SU or the pub after training, plus other fun events such as curries, cinema nights, casino nights and many more!
How much does it cost?
New members get 1 free month of fencing before deciding to join
Subs include all equipment upkeep costs and insurance. Competitions may be subject to extra charges
