Karate Club

Practical, traditional, self-defense, ground work, competitive karate

Close range, grappling and weapons techniques are integral to the SHINBOKU syllabus to form a martial art that is highly effective 'on the street'.

Kata forms the basis of the training, but knowledge of its meaning and an ability to apply techniques fluently are pre-requisites for progression.
