Representation @ SGSU

St George's Students' Union is run by students for students and our main aim is to ensure that we are a welcoming and inclusive SU and that every student at George's feels part of our unique George's community.

If you feel that you or a group that you belong to aren't being adequately represented please get into touch and we will endeavour to address your issues: vpeducation@su.sgul.ac.uk

This position is currently unfilled.

Representation Officers ensure that the concerns of the three main committees that govern the SU (Council, Executive and Senate) are addressed by the relevant body, and to ensure that how these issues are responded to is communicated to the student body. They are also partly responsible for publicising elections, assist E+D in the running of steering groups, and work with VP Education and Welfare in determining responses from the SU to external political and social issues. Up to two officers may run as a team.

If you would like to find out more about joining the SU representation team this year, please pop into the SU office, or email Amy Wright, general secretary: secretary@su.sgul.ac.uk
