Welcome to St George's Hospital Athletics Club

Whether you're a weekend jogger, Olympic marathon runner or club sprinter, we have something for you. We offer running and athletics for fun, fitness and competition - a great way of keeping fit, getting to know new people and 'enjoying' a race or two.

We offer:

  • Easy group social runs on Wednesday afternoons

  • Trips to our local parkrun on Tooting Common - really simple and really inclusive

  •  5 cross - country races against all the London Universities - all standards welcome, just prepare to get muddy

  • Indoor track and field championships in November, including the 150 year old United Hospitals Athletics Championships, which we won in 2017

  •  3 outdoor track  and field meets in the spring

  • Track and field training through our partnership with local club Herne Hill Harriers

  •  Runs in some of South London's best green spaces including Wimbledon Common, Clapham Common, Wandsworth Common, Mitcham Common, Battersea Park & Brockwell Park

  • The opportunity to compete at BUCS, either cross-country or at the indoor and outdoor athletics championships
