SGUL Winner -- 2014 National Undergraduate Neuroanatomy Competition

We are very pleased to announce that Long Nguyen (an M5Y2 medical student) has won first place in the preclinical category of the National Undergraduate Neuroanatomy Competition, which was held at the University of Southampton last month.

The format was a 70-minute MCQ paper and an 84-item anatomy 'spotter' in the dissection room - and there was tough competition from approx. 100 other students from medical schools across the UK (the winner in the clinical category was a final year student from UCL).

Congratulations to Long (who was awarded his prize by Professor Sir Graham Teasdale, originator of the Glasgow Coma Scale) and also to the six other SGUL students who took part this year.

Hello,

I use the Direct Payments Scheme to to recruit my own care/support staff.  Having recently worked in a university Students' Union myself, I am aware of just how much this job appeals to students; particularly those with medical training and/or social care experience.  With this in mind, I would like to advertise the positions attached.

Please either reply to this email or contact me on 07956107206 if you have any questions or need to negotiate this process with me any further.

Kind regards,

Sarah Jones Nash
