Issue 1 - 08/11/13

Dear Fellow Students

Choosing a specialty is not easy and there is often insufficient careers advice, limited resources or inadequate clarity.

Therefore, my colleague and I are examining the factors which influence career and specialty choice among medical students by conducting a short online survey including different medical schools across the country. The results from this study will be used to improve medical education by enhancing support and careers advice for future students. Furthermore, there are £50 worth of amazon vouchers available for one lucky respondent.

The survey should only take 5 - 7 minutes of your time and will make a valuable contribution to medical education. The survey is available at the following address :

If you have any questions please email Jameel Mushtaq  (m1000397@sgul.ac.uk) or Muaaz Tahir (mt2512@imperial.ac.uk).

Many thanks
Jameel and Muaaz
