Cardiothoracic Surgery Society
The Cardiothoracic Surgery Society is an academic society focusing on work and research within the Cardiothoracic field. We aspire to hold events to raise awareness of this niche specialty and to try and build upon the vast amount of research within the specialty.
The society aims to hold talks and workshops delivered by surgeons and medical professionals. This includes surgical workshops and talks on Cardiothoracic surgery. We hope to get involved with research including audits, qualitative improvement projects and other types of research as well as to increase the promotion of the specialty and the many prospects that a life in Cardiothoracic surgery can offer.
