Summer Work for Student
dba Recruitment solutions
It is that time of year again when we start recruiting predominantly students and young people to take up work opportunities over the summer period at festivals and events throughout the U.K.
Whilst there is no doubt that there is work to be done at the events this offers a great opportunity to attend all the major festivals whereas it may often be too expensive to attend. There will be plenty of opportunity to take in and enjoy some of the events scheduled and has proven over the years to be an invaluable opportunity to earn money, meet new friends and gain a reference on satisfactory completion of the contract to use in further employment. As well as seeing the biggest names in U.K. music, for a lot of young people this is their first encounter with work and full support and training is also offered. Events included: Parklife Weekender, Leeds 2012, R1 Hackney Weekend, Isle of White 2012, Global Gatherin, Creamfields, Bestival, Womad, Rewing Festival, T4 on the Beach, Hop Farm, Jodrell Bank, Royal Air Tattoo and Cheltenham Gold Cup.
Many of our past colleagues return to us year after year to enjoy the experience and this year we are recruiting more colleagues to cover our busy upcoming season.

Medical Ethic and Law e-learning
The medical ethics and law and e-Learning team have won funding from JISC to video enrich some of our existing Ethics Virtual Patients and then to disseminate them to 20 medical schools in the UK for evaluation. If you are interested in helping us to write scripts and/or create videos (this will include directing, video-recording and acting) then please email me as soon as possible. There will be funding made available for this - i.e. we can pay you though we have not determined what the rate of pay will be just yet. We have to complete the videos by September 2012 which, given assessments, probably means beginning to work on them now and then doing most of the work suring the summer break/beginning of new academic year.
