How we are governed
St George’s Students’ Union is led by students for the students. Our mission is to be a representative and democratic Students' Union and we are committed to setting the highest standards to ensure that each and every student at St George's is represented at all levels of governance.
We recognise the importance of good leadership in your Students' Union and we want you to feel able to challenge your elected leaders when needed, and having a clear and transparent constitution with democratic processes that are appropriate and fair.
We also believe that you deserve to know and understand the work that your elected officers, trustees and full-time staff members are doing on your behalf. Effectively we want you to know that you have a voice and that your elected leaders are accountable to you, the student body.
